1. INTRODUCTION, LEGAL STATUS AND BINDING EFFECT

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (the “Terms” or “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the registered user (“Customer”, “User”, “You”, “Your”), and Pendulum Gaming Solutions Limited, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with Company Registration Number RC 8529517, trading under the brand name “Eazeebet” (“Eazeebet”, “Operator”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).

1.2 These Terms govern your access to and use of all products and services offered by Eazeebet, including but not limited to:

· The website located at www.eazeebet.com;

· Mobile web versions of the Platform;

· Native mobile applications;

· USSD betting services;

· SMS betting services;

· Retail betting interfaces (where applicable);

· Any APIs, integrations, digital tools, content feeds, or associated software made available by Eazeebet (collectively, the “Platform”).

1.3 By creating an Account, accessing the Platform, placing a Bet, depositing funds, accepting a Promotion, or otherwise using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge and confirm that:

(a) You have read and understood these Terms in full;
(b) You accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms;
(c) You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
(d) You understand that wagering involves financial risk.

1.4 These Terms, together with any applicable promotional rules, sport-specific rules, Privacy Policy, Responsible Gambling Policy, and AML/CTF Policy (as updated from time to time), form the entire agreement between you and Eazeebet in relation to your use of the Platform.

1.5 If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease use of the Platform. Continued use after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.6 Eazeebet reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time for operational, regulatory, legal, or commercial reasons. Where amendments are material, reasonable steps will be taken to notify Customers through the Platform or other communication channels. It remains your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.

2. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

2.1 For the purposes of these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

“Account” means the unique, personal betting account registered by a Customer on the Platform.

“Applicable Law” means all laws, regulations, directives, circulars, and binding regulatory requirements applicable within the Federal Republic of Nigeria governing betting operations, anti-money laundering, consumer protection, taxation, financial reporting, and data protection.

“Bet” means any wager placed by a Customer on any market or event offered by Eazeebet.

“Bonus” means any promotional credit, free bet, enhanced odds, cashback, or other incentive granted subject to specific terms.

“Cash Out” means the optional feature allowing early settlement of a Bet before official event conclusion.

“Manifest Error” means an obvious pricing, settlement, or technical error that a reasonable person would recognize as materially incorrect.

“Wallet” means the electronic ledger associated with a Customer Account showing deposits, wagers, winnings, bonuses, and withdrawals.

2.2 Words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa.

2.3 Headings are inserted for convenience and shall not affect interpretation.

2.4 Any reference to legislation includes amendments, re-enactments, and subsidiary regulations.

3. REGULATORY STATUS AND COMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS

3.1 Eazeebet operates pursuant to a valid betting licence issued by the appropriate regulatory authority within Nigeria.

3.2 All services are provided in compliance with Applicable Law, including but not limited to:

· Nigerian gaming and betting regulations;

· Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing legislation;

· The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA);

· Applicable taxation laws;

· Consumer protection legislation.

3.3 Eazeebet maintains internal policies and controls designed to comply with regulatory requirements. These controls may include transaction monitoring, customer profiling, document verification, and reporting of suspicious activity.

3.4 Nothing in these Terms limits Eazeebet’s statutory obligations to cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, financial intelligence units, or courts of competent jurisdiction.

3.5 Where regulatory directives conflict with any provision of these Terms, regulatory requirements shall prevail.

4. ELIGIBILITY, AGE AND CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIONS

4.1 You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to register and use the Platform.

4.2 By registering an Account, you represent and warrant that:

(a) You are at least 18 years old;
(b) You are legally permitted to gamble in your jurisdiction of residence;
(c) You have not previously been self-excluded or barred from Eazeebet;
(d) You are acting on your own behalf and not as an agent for another person;
(e) All funds deposited are lawfully obtained and not proceeds of crime;
(f) You are not listed on any sanctions, watchlist, or prohibited persons list.

4.3 Eazeebet reserves the right to verify your age at any time and to request documentary evidence to confirm eligibility.

4.4 If Eazeebet determines that an Account holder is underage:

(a) The Account shall be suspended immediately;
(b) All winnings shall be void;
(c) Deposits may be returned (less administrative or chargeback costs);
(d) Relevant authorities may be notified where required by law.

4.5 You agree to notify Eazeebet immediately if any of your representations under this Section become untrue.

5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION

5.1 To open an Account, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate, current, and complete information including your full legal name, date of birth, residential address, mobile number, and email address.

5.2 You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided remains accurate and up to date. Failure to update inaccurate information may result in suspension or closure of your Account.

5.3 Only one Account per individual is permitted. Opening multiple Accounts, whether directly or indirectly, is prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing by Eazeebet.

5.4 Eazeebet reserves the right to reject any registration application at its sole discretion, particularly where:

· Identity cannot be verified;

· Duplicate Accounts are detected;

· Fraud or compliance concerns arise;

· Regulatory risk is identified.

5.5 Your Account is personal and non-transferable. You may not assign, transfer, sell, or share your Account with any other person.

6. ACCOUNT SECURITY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCESS

6.1 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials, including your username, password, PIN, or authentication codes.

6.2 All activity conducted through your Account shall be deemed authorized by you unless you notify Eazeebet promptly of unauthorized access.

6.3 You must immediately inform Customer Support if you suspect:

· Unauthorized access;

· Compromised credentials;

· Account takeover;

· Suspicious activity.

6.4 Eazeebet shall not be liable for losses arising from:

· Failure to safeguard login details;

· Sharing of devices;

· Use of unsecured public networks;

· Phishing or social engineering attacks not caused by Eazeebet’s negligence.

6.5 Eazeebet may suspend your Account where it detects unusual login patterns, device changes, IP anomalies, or suspected compromise.

7. KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER (KYC) AND ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING CONTROLS

7.1 Eazeebet operates a risk-based Know Your Customer (KYC) framework to verify the identity of Customers and to prevent fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing.

7.2 Eazeebet may request documentation at any time, including but not limited to:

· Government-issued identification (National ID, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, International Passport);

· Proof of residential address;

· Selfie or biometric verification;

· Bank statements;

· Source of funds documentation;

· Politically Exposed Person declarations.

7.3 Enhanced Due Diligence may apply where:

· Cumulative transactions exceed internal thresholds;

· Unusual betting patterns are detected;

· Payment methods change frequently;

· Third-party funding is suspected;

· Regulatory triggers are activated.

7.4 Eazeebet reserves the right to:

· Suspend deposits;

· Restrict wagering;

· Freeze withdrawals;

· Close Accounts
until satisfactory verification is completed.

7.5 Where suspicious activity is identified, Eazeebet may file reports with relevant authorities without notice to the Customer, as required by Applicable Law.

7.6 Eazeebet shall not be liable for any loss resulting from compliance with statutory reporting obligations.

8. WALLET STRUCTURE, ACCOUNT BALANCES AND HOW FUNDS ARE TREATED

8.1 When you successfully register an Account, Eazeebet will create an electronic wallet (the “Wallet”) linked to your Account. Your Wallet is an internal record maintained by Eazeebet showing the funds you have deposited, any winnings credited to you, any bonuses granted, and any withdrawals requested or processed. The Wallet is not a bank account and should not be treated as a bank account. Eazeebet is not a deposit-taking institution, and the Platform is not a savings, investment, or payment product. For the avoidance of doubt, balances in your Wallet do not attract interest, are not insured as deposits, and are not held out as protected savings.

8.2 Your Wallet may operate with separate internal balances for administrative and compliance purposes. For example, Eazeebet may distinguish between a “real money” balance funded by deposits and winnings, a “bonus” balance funded by promotional credits, and a “restricted” or “pending” balance where transactions are under review, where a withdrawal request has been submitted but not completed, or where we must comply with AML/CTF requirements. These internal distinctions are made to ensure transparent administration of funds, correct application of promotional rules, and compliance with law. You accept that Eazeebet may move funds between these internal balances where required to reflect the true status of your Account (for example, when a bonus is forfeited, when a bet is voided, when a settlement is corrected, or when a chargeback occurs).

8.3 You are responsible for monitoring your Wallet and ensuring your Account activities accurately reflect your intentions. While Eazeebet will take reasonable steps to ensure accurate records, you accept that interruptions, data feed delays, payment processor delays, and technical faults may occur. If you believe your Wallet balance is incorrect, you must notify Customer Support promptly and provide the details reasonably required to investigate. Where a discrepancy is identified, Eazeebet may correct the Wallet record to reflect what should have occurred in accordance with these Terms and our transaction logs.

8.4 Eazeebet may, where permitted by Applicable Law, adjust your Wallet where (i) funds were credited in error; (ii) a bet was settled incorrectly; (iii) a bonus was awarded or applied contrary to the promotion terms; (iv) a deposit is reversed, disputed, or charged back; (v) fraudulent activity is detected; or (vi) we are required to comply with a legal or regulatory instruction. If your Wallet is credited mistakenly and you use or withdraw those funds, you agree that the incorrectly credited amount constitutes a debt owed to Eazeebet and Eazeebet may recover that amount by reversing credit, debiting your Wallet, setting off against future deposits or winnings, or taking lawful recovery steps.

8.5 Eazeebet reserves the right to impose restrictions on Wallet functionality where required to comply with KYC, AML/CTF, fraud prevention, responsible gambling measures, regulatory instruction, or platform security. Such restrictions may include preventing deposits, preventing wagering, preventing withdrawals, or limiting transaction amounts. These restrictions are protective measures and do not necessarily mean wrongdoing; however, you must cooperate fully by providing any documents or information we reasonably request to lift restrictions.

9. DEPOSITS, FUNDING YOUR ACCOUNT, AND PAYMENT CONTROLS

9.1 To participate in real-money wagering, you must deposit funds into your Wallet using payment methods made available on the Platform. Eazeebet may add, remove, or limit payment methods at any time for operational, commercial, regulatory, or risk reasons. You acknowledge that some payment methods are provided by third-party payment processors, banks, or fintech providers, and those providers may apply their own rules, fees, delays, or limits outside Eazeebet’s control.

9.2 You must only deposit using a payment instrument or account that belongs to you. “Third-party funding” (including deposits made from another person’s bank account, card, wallet, fintech account, or any payment instrument not held in your legal name) is strictly prohibited. This prohibition is essential for AML/CTF compliance and fraud prevention. Where Eazeebet reasonably believes a deposit was made by a third party or using a mismatched identity, Eazeebet may reverse the deposit, restrict your Account, request proof of ownership of the payment method, and/or suspend withdrawals pending verification. Where we reverse or return deposits, you accept that transaction fees or administrative costs may be deducted where such costs are incurred.

9.3 Deposits are generally credited when confirmed by the relevant payment provider. However, deposit status may sometimes show as pending due to payment provider delays, bank processing windows, system maintenance, or suspected irregularity. Eazeebet is not responsible for a deposit delay caused by your bank, your fintech provider, mobile network, payment gateway, or third-party processor. You must ensure you have sufficient funds, correct details, and a functional payment method before initiating a deposit.

9.4 Eazeebet may impose deposit limits and controls based on risk assessment, regulatory requirements, responsible gambling policies, and platform safety. Eazeebet may also request additional documentation for deposits above certain thresholds or where deposit behaviour triggers enhanced monitoring. This may include evidence of income, bank statements, proof of account ownership, or other source-of-funds documentation. You agree to provide such information promptly. If you fail or refuse, Eazeebet may restrict your ability to deposit, wager, or withdraw.

9.5 Deposited funds must be used for wagering on the Platform and for lawful participation in Eazeebet products. If Eazeebet determines that your Account is being used primarily to move money, “cycle” funds, create artificial transaction history, or otherwise behave like a payment service rather than a gaming account, we may restrict your Account and may require additional verification. Where permitted by law, Eazeebet may also void related bonuses and may refuse withdrawals of funds that have not been used for wagering until appropriate due diligence is completed.

10. WITHDRAWALS, PAYOUTS, PROCESSING RULES AND CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

10.1 Withdrawal of funds from your Wallet is a privilege governed by these Terms and subject to compliance checks required by law and by our fraud prevention obligations. While Eazeebet aims to process withdrawals efficiently, all withdrawals are subject to verification and review. A withdrawal request does not guarantee immediate payment, and Eazeebet may delay or refuse a withdrawal where it is reasonable to do so under these Terms or Applicable Law.

10.2 Withdrawals will generally be paid to a verified bank account or payment method registered in your name. For compliance and fraud prevention reasons, Eazeebet may require that withdrawals be paid to the same payment method or account used for deposits, where technically feasible. If that is not feasible, you may be required to provide additional information to confirm the legitimacy of the withdrawal destination. Eazeebet may refuse to send withdrawals to accounts that do not match your verified identity details.

10.3 Eazeebet may impose withdrawal limits and controls, including limits on the number of withdrawal requests within a given period, maximum withdrawal amounts per request, and maximum amounts withdrawable per day. Such limits may vary based on payment method, operational capacity, regulatory requirements, your Account status, risk profile, and promotional conditions. Where your expected winnings exceed platform limits, Eazeebet may settle payments in tranches or in a manner reasonably determined by Eazeebet, provided that this is lawful and communicated appropriately.

10.4 Withdrawal requests may be subject to a review process. During review, Eazeebet may request additional documents or may suspend the withdrawal until review is completed. Reviews may occur for reasons including unusual betting patterns, suspected bonus abuse, suspected third-party funding, duplicate account suspicion, chargeback exposure, abnormal device/IP activity, or AML triggers. You accept that these reviews are necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform and comply with law, and you agree to cooperate.

10.5 Eazeebet reserves the right of set-off. This means that if you owe Eazeebet money for any reason, Eazeebet may deduct what you owe from your Wallet before processing withdrawals. Debts may arise from chargebacks, reversed deposits, erroneous credits, promotional misuse, fraud losses attributed to you, or any other amount you are legally obligated to repay. Where a chargeback occurs, Eazeebet may treat the chargeback amount and any associated costs as a debt due immediately. Eazeebet may suspend your Account while recovering the debt and may take lawful recovery steps.

10.6 Eazeebet is not liable for delays caused by payment providers, banks, fintech providers, mobile network issues, or incorrect details provided by you. You are responsible for ensuring your bank details are accurate and that the destination account is capable of receiving funds. If a withdrawal fails due to your error, Eazeebet may reprocess it after corrections but may deduct any additional costs incurred.

11. PLACING BETS, CONFIRMATION, AND THE FORMATION OF A BETTING CONTRACT

11.1 A bet is not merely a selection on your screen; a bet becomes a binding contract only when accepted by Eazeebet. You acknowledge that your device display may lag, refresh late, or show stale information due to network conditions. For that reason, the only authoritative record of a bet is what is accepted and recorded on Eazeebet’s server. A bet is valid only when a unique transaction reference is generated and the bet appears in your confirmed bet history.

11.2 You are responsible for checking your stake, selections, market type, odds, and any special conditions before confirming. Once confirmed and accepted, bets cannot be cancelled, changed, or edited by you. This rule applies whether a bet was placed online, on mobile, by USSD, by SMS, via retail channels, or by any other platform method. If you make a mistake, you bear that risk unless the mistake resulted from a manifest platform error proven by our logs.

11.3 Eazeebet may refuse any bet or may accept only part of your requested stake. This may happen due to risk management, market protection, suspicious activity, regulatory concerns, event integrity concerns, or technical restrictions. Eazeebet is not required to provide reasons for refusing a bet. Where a bet is refused, funds will remain in your Wallet.

11.4 Eazeebet may restrict or limit bet sizes, bet types, market access, or winnings for certain customers, accounts, devices, IP addresses, or transaction patterns. These restrictions may be applied as risk controls, responsible gambling measures, AML controls, or fraud controls. Such restrictions may be temporary or permanent and may apply without notice.

12. ODDS, PRICES, MARKET MANAGEMENT AND SUSPENSION

12.1 Odds displayed on the Platform are subject to change and are offered only as an invitation to treat until the bet is accepted. Odds may change rapidly, particularly for live betting, breaking news, line movements, or high-volume markets. If odds change between the moment you select a market and the moment the bet is confirmed, the bet will be accepted (if at all) at the odds shown at confirmation.

12.2 Eazeebet may suspend, remove, reopen, or alter markets at any time. Market suspension may occur because of event developments, integrity concerns, sharp price movement, trading decisions, regulatory instruction, or technical reasons. If a bet is placed when a market should have been suspended, including where a platform delay allows the placement, Eazeebet may declare the bet void or may settle it at odds considered fair and lawful in the circumstances.

12.3 Eazeebet uses data feeds and information sources that may include third parties. While Eazeebet aims for accuracy, it does not guarantee that all statistics, match clocks, market labels, player names, or event details are error-free. Where an error in event description or statistics is material to the market, Eazeebet may correct the market, suspend it, void affected bets, or re-settle bets in a fair and compliant manner.

13. LIVE BETTING, TIME DELAYS, AND CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

13.1 Live betting carries inherent risk because events happen in real time and information reaches customers at different speeds. Broadcast feeds may be delayed, stadium events occur before television updates, and data feeds may lag. By placing in-play bets, you acknowledge that you may not be viewing the same moment of the event as our trading system, and that Eazeebet must protect market integrity against “past posting” (betting after a key event has occurred).

13.2 Eazeebet may apply an acceptance delay to live bets. During this delay, your bet may be accepted, rejected, or re-priced. If a material event occurs during the acceptance delay (such as a goal, red card, penalty, end of period, or any major scoring action), Eazeebet may reject the bet or declare it void even if your device shows it as submitted. This is necessary to preserve fair pricing.

13.3 Eazeebet may void live bets where it reasonably believes the bet was placed after a material event occurred but before the market was suspended due to feed delay, system delay, or human delay. Eazeebet’s server logs, market suspension logs, and data feed timestamps shall be decisive in such matters.

 

 

14. SETTLEMENT, RESULTS, ABANDONED EVENTS, AND OFFICIAL SOURCES

14.1 Bets are settled based on official results declared by the relevant governing body or by an authoritative data source used by Eazeebet. Settlement is made on the basis of the result as known and confirmed at the time of settlement. If a result is later changed after settlement due to appeals, disciplinary matters, investigations, or administrative decisions, Eazeebet generally will not re-open settlement unless (i) required by law/regulator, or (ii) the governing body’s rules clearly require retroactive correction and Eazeebet chooses to apply it consistently across customers.

14.2 If an event is abandoned, postponed, delayed, suspended, or cancelled, Eazeebet will apply the relevant market rules. Where market rules do not expressly cover a situation, Eazeebet may void bets unless the outcome has already been unequivocally determined. For example, if a market’s outcome is mathematically fixed and cannot change regardless of how the event resumes, Eazeebet may settle it. In all other cases, Eazeebet may void to protect fairness.

14.3 Eazeebet may delay settlement where official confirmation is pending, where integrity concerns exist, where a complaint has been lodged with the governing body, or where data sources conflict. Delayed settlement is a protective measure. Eazeebet is not liable for inconvenience caused by settlement delays required to ensure correct outcomes.

15. MANIFEST ERROR, OBVIOUS MISTAKES AND THE RIGHT TO CORRECT

15.1 A manifest error is not just any error; it is an error that is clearly wrong and would be recognized by a reasonable bettor as materially incorrect. This may include incorrect odds caused by missing decimals, reversed plus/minus signs, wrong handicaps, wrong totals, wrong team/player mapping, duplicated lines, or any settlement error caused by system logic or data feed faults.

15.2 Where a manifest error occurs, Eazeebet may take corrective action. Corrective action may include voiding bets, re-pricing bets at correct odds, re-settling bets based on correct market parameters, reversing winnings credited in error, or re-opening an investigation into suspicious usage patterns. This is necessary to maintain the integrity of the Platform and to prevent exploitation of pricing mistakes.

15.3 Where a customer has benefited from a manifest error and has withdrawn funds attributable to the error, the customer agrees to repay the amount and authorizes Eazeebet to recover it through set-off, wallet debit, or lawful recovery methods.

16. CASH OUT: AVAILABILITY, CALCULATION AND FINALITY

16.1 Cash Out is a feature offered at Eazeebet’s discretion. Eazeebet is not obliged to offer Cash Out on every market or to every customer. Availability may depend on event type, market volatility, trading decisions, risk exposure, data feed status, and technical capacity.

16.2 The Cash Out amount is calculated by Eazeebet’s system and may change rapidly. A Cash Out request may be accepted, rejected, or recalculated depending on market movement, suspension, delays, or detection of system irregularity. Where a Cash Out is accepted, the bet is treated as settled and the Customer’s wallet is credited accordingly. After Cash Out settlement, the final result of the event generally has no impact on the amount you received, unless a manifest error or technical fault is later discovered.

16.3 Eazeebet may reverse a Cash Out settlement where it determines that the Cash Out was accepted due to a manifest error, wrong market state, or technical malfunction. This is not a discretionary “takeback” but a correction of an incorrect settlement.

17. BONUSES, PROMOTIONS AND THE RULES GOVERNING INCENTIVES

17.1 Promotions are marketing tools and are offered at Eazeebet’s discretion. Every promotion will have specific terms, including eligibility conditions, time limits, wagering requirements, applicable markets, minimum odds, stake limits, and payout caps. These specific promotional terms form part of these Terms by reference.

17.2 Bonus funds are typically non-withdrawable until wagering requirements are met. Even where a bonus converts to real money, Eazeebet may still apply AML review and KYC checks before permitting withdrawal. If you request withdrawal while an active wagering requirement remains, Eazeebet may (i) refuse the withdrawal until completion, or (ii) allow you to forfeit the bonus and related bonus winnings to withdraw your real money balance, where permitted by the promotion rules.

17.3 Eazeebet may amend, suspend, or withdraw promotions at any time. Where a promotion changes, Eazeebet will make reasonable effort to communicate material changes; however, you remain responsible for reviewing promotion terms as they appear on the Platform.

18. BONUS ABUSE, ARBITRAGE, SYNDICATES AND LINKED ACCOUNTS

18.1 Eazeebet treats bonus abuse as a serious breach. Bonus abuse includes any attempt to secure risk-free profit by exploiting promotions, including multi-accounting, matched betting, hedging across accounts, organized syndicates, use of third parties, identity manipulation, and device/IP rotation to evade controls.

18.2 Eazeebet may use device fingerprinting, behavioural analytics, IP intelligence, payment matching, and trading pattern analysis to detect linked accounts. Where accounts are linked, Eazeebet may treat them as one customer for promotion eligibility, may void bonuses, may void promotional winnings, and may close accounts involved.

18.3 Where Eazeebet reasonably believes abuse has occurred, it may remove bonus funds, cancel pending bonuses, void winnings derived from abusive patterns, impose stake limits, restrict withdrawals pending investigation, and/or permanently close the Account. Eazeebet’s decisions in these matters will be made reasonably and in good faith, but you accept that Eazeebet must protect the Platform from systematic exploitation.

19. FRAUD, COLLUSION, INTEGRITY, AND PLATFORM MISUSE

19.1 Eazeebet prohibits fraud in all forms, including identity fraud, payment fraud, use of stolen financial instruments, chargeback abuse, account takeovers, and manipulation of platform vulnerabilities. If Eazeebet suspects fraud, it may immediately suspend the Account, freeze funds, void bets, and report the matter to relevant authorities where required.

19.2 Collusion and syndicate betting where multiple accounts coordinate betting to exploit prices, promotions, or limits may result in account closure and forfeiture of promotional benefits. Where integrity of an event is called into question (match fixing, insider influence, suspicious betting patterns, or any manipulation), Eazeebet may void bets, delay settlement, or withhold payout pending investigation.

19.3 You must not use bots, scripts, automated systems, or software intended to place bets faster than humans, to scrape odds, to monitor markets at scale, or to exploit platform latency. You must not attempt to reverse engineer the Platform, interfere with security, or access the Platform in an unauthorized manner. Eazeebet may block, restrict, and take legal action against such misuse.

20. RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING CONTROLS, LIMITS, AND SELF-EXCLUSION

20.1 Eazeebet encourages responsible play and recognizes that gambling can cause harm for some individuals. You acknowledge that gambling should be entertainment and not a means of financial recovery. Where you believe your gambling is becoming harmful, you should seek help and request limitations.

20.2 Eazeebet may provide tools allowing you to set deposit limits, loss limits, wagering limits, and session time limits. Requests to reduce limits take effect immediately. Requests to increase limits may be subject to a cooling-off period, and Eazeebet may refuse increases where risk concerns exist. You may request cooling-off periods or self-exclusion. Self-exclusion requests will block your Account for a defined period and generally cannot be reversed before expiry. If you attempt to circumvent restrictions by creating another Account, Eazeebet may close all related Accounts.

20.3 Eazeebet may proactively intervene where it detects harmful patterns, including contacting you, imposing limits, or temporarily restricting the Account. Such interventions are protective and may be required by internal responsible gambling obligations.

21. DATA PROTECTION, NDPA COMPLIANCE, AND CUSTOMER CONSENT

21.1 Eazeebet processes personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and applicable regulations. By using the Platform, you understand and consent (where required) to the collection, storage, use, and sharing of your data for lawful purposes, including account operation, fraud prevention, KYC verification, AML compliance, responsible gambling, customer support, dispute handling, and platform improvement.

21.2 Eazeebet may share your data with identity verification providers, payment processors, fraud prevention vendors, cloud hosting providers, regulators, and law enforcement as required by law. Where data is transferred or stored using third-party infrastructure, Eazeebet will implement reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and regulatory requirements.

21.3 Eazeebet will retain data for as long as necessary to meet legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. Data may be retained after Account closure where required for AML recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or regulatory audits.

22. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY, DOWNTIME, TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

22.1 Eazeebet aims to provide the Platform continuously, but availability may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, security, network failures, third-party provider outages, data feed disruptions, or unforeseen technical events. You accept that the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis and that temporary interruption does not constitute breach of contract.

22.2 Eazeebet is not liable for losses arising from inability to place bets due to platform unavailability, network problems, device limitations, mobile network failure, or third-party outages. Where a bet is not accepted due to such issues, no contract is formed and Eazeebet has no liability for “missed opportunity” claims.

23. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS AND IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

23.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eazeebet excludes liability for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or claims arising from your inability to access the Platform, delay in settlement due to verification, or inability to place bets due to market suspension.

23.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by Eazeebet’s proven negligence, where such exclusion would be unlawful. However, you acknowledge that participation in betting is at your own risk and you remain responsible for your betting choices.

 

 

 

 

24. INDEMNITY: YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT THE OPERATOR FROM YOUR BREACH

24.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eazeebet, its directors, employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and suppliers against losses, claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, fraud, misuse of the Platform, or violation of Applicable Law. This indemnity includes reasonable legal costs incurred by Eazeebet to enforce these Terms or respond to regulatory investigations caused by your actions.

25. COMPLAINTS, DISPUTES, AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT PROCESS

25.1 If you have a complaint or dispute relating to the Platform, a bet, a settlement, a payment, or any Account issue, you must first contact Eazeebet through our official customer support channels and provide full details necessary to investigate. Your complaint should include your username, registered details, relevant transaction references, dates and times, and a clear explanation of the issue.

25.2 Eazeebet will acknowledge and handle complaints within reasonable timeframes and will aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly. Where additional investigation is required (for example, review of logs, verification checks, or third-party payment confirmations), resolution may take longer. You agree to cooperate and provide additional information if requested.

25.3 If you do not raise a dispute within a reasonable period after the issue arose or after settlement/payment, you may lose the ability to challenge the outcome, particularly where records are archived or time-limited by Applicable Law.

26. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION, ENTIRE AGREEMENT, CHANGES, AND SURVIVAL

26.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You submit to the jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria for disputes that cannot be resolved through the complaint process. Nothing prevents Eazeebet from seeking urgent injunctive relief or protective orders where necessary to prevent fraud, protect assets, or comply with legal requirements.

26.2 Eazeebet may amend these Terms for legal, regulatory, operational, or commercial reasons. Where changes are material, Eazeebet will take reasonable steps to communicate them through the Platform or other channels. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

26.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Eazeebet regarding your use of the Platform. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination such as AML obligations, indemnity, liability limits, debt recovery, data retention, and dispute provisions shall survive termination or closure of your Account.

27. RISK MANAGEMENT, TRADING DISCRETION AND EXPOSURE CONTROL

27.1 Eazeebet operates as a licensed betting operator and, as such, assumes financial exposure in relation to wagers placed by Customers. In order to maintain operational stability, regulatory compliance, and market integrity, Eazeebet implements internal risk management systems designed to monitor betting patterns, exposure levels, pricing anomalies, and suspicious activity.

27.2 Eazeebet reserves the absolute right to manage its risk exposure at all times. This includes, without limitation, the right to:

(a) Limit or refuse any stake;
(b) Restrict specific markets or bet types;
(c) Impose maximum payout caps;
(d) Close markets at any time;
(e) Void bets where integrity concerns arise;
(f) Apply individual account restrictions.

27.3 Risk management decisions may be based on:

· Market volatility;

· Unusual betting volumes;

· Integrity alerts from monitoring bodies;

· Syndicate or arbitrage detection;

· Pricing errors or feed discrepancies;

· Regulatory directives.

27.4 Eazeebet is not obliged to provide reasons for risk management decisions and such decisions shall not be deemed discriminatory where they are made in good faith for operational protection.

27.5 Customers acknowledge that betting is not an unlimited right and that Eazeebet may reasonably protect itself from disproportionate financial exposure.

28. MAXIMUM LIABILITY AND PAYOUT STRUCTURE

28.1 Eazeebet may impose maximum payout limits on any bet, market, event, sport, promotional offer, or Customer.

28.2 Maximum payout limits may vary depending on:

· Pre-match or in-play status;

· Sport category;

· Promotional funding;

· Accumulator combinations;

· Market type.

28.3 Where calculated winnings exceed the maximum permitted payout, the payout shall be capped at the applicable maximum.

28.4 Eazeebet may reduce exposure by partially accepting large bets. The accepted portion shall constitute the binding wager.

28.5 Maximum payout structures are applied as risk controls and do not constitute breach of contract.

29. DORMANT ACCOUNTS AND UNCLAIMED FUNDS

29.1 An Account may be classified as dormant where no login or betting activity has occurred for a continuous period of twelve (12) months.

29.2 Eazeebet may attempt to contact the Customer using the registered contact details prior to classifying an Account as dormant.

29.3 Dormant Accounts may be subject to administrative review to ensure compliance with regulatory record-keeping obligations.

29.4 Where permitted by Applicable Law, Eazeebet may apply reasonable administrative handling measures to dormant accounts, provided such measures are transparent and lawful.

29.5 Customers may reactivate dormant Accounts by contacting Customer Support and completing any required verification.

29.6 Unclaimed funds may be subject to regulatory reporting obligations if required under Nigerian law.

30. ACCOUNT CLOSURE BY CUSTOMER

30.1 Customers may request voluntary Account closure at any time by contacting Customer Support.

30.2 Prior to closure, Eazeebet may require:

· Identity verification;

· Completion of pending bets;

· Withdrawal or forfeiture of Bonus balances;

· Resolution of outstanding investigations.

30.3 Eazeebet may delay closure where compliance obligations remain outstanding.

30.4 Closure of an Account does not extinguish debts owed to Eazeebet.

31. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION BY EAZEEBET

31.1 Eazeebet may suspend or terminate an Account where:

· These Terms are breached;

· Fraud is suspected;

· AML concerns arise;

· Duplicate Accounts are detected;

· Regulatory instructions are issued;

· Integrity of betting activity is compromised.

31.2 During suspension, Eazeebet may:

· Freeze funds;

· Prevent withdrawals;

· Block betting activity;

· Conduct investigations.

31.3 Where termination occurs, Eazeebet may withhold funds where legally justified.

32. EXPANDED ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING FRAMEWORK

32.1 Eazeebet maintains internal AML and CTF controls in compliance with Nigerian financial crime legislation.

32.2 All transactions may be monitored using automated and manual review systems designed to detect:

· Structuring of deposits;

· Rapid deposit-withdrawal patterns;

· Minimal wagering prior to withdrawal;

· Unusual bet placement patterns;

· Use of multiple payment instruments.

32.3 Where suspicious activity is detected, Eazeebet may:

· Freeze funds;

· Delay withdrawals;

· Request enhanced documentation;

· File Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with competent authorities.

32.4 Customers acknowledge that Eazeebet may be legally prohibited from disclosing that a report has been filed.

32.5 Failure to provide requested AML documentation within a reasonable period may result in permanent Account closure.

33. REGULATORY REPORTING AND DISCLOSURE

33.1 Eazeebet may disclose Customer information where required to:

· Gaming regulators;

· Financial intelligence units;

· Law enforcement agencies;

· Courts of competent jurisdiction.

33.2 Such disclosures may occur without prior notice to the Customer where legally required.

33.3 Eazeebet shall not be liable for consequences arising from lawful disclosure.

34. USSD AND SMS BETTING TERMS

34.1 Where betting services are accessed via USSD or SMS channels, Customers acknowledge that such channels operate via telecommunications networks outside Eazeebet’s direct control.

34.2 A USSD or SMS bet shall only be deemed valid when confirmation is returned to the Customer with a reference number.

34.3 Network failure, delayed delivery, message truncation, or telecom interruption may result in unsuccessful bet placement. Eazeebet shall not be liable for missed bets due to telecom network issues.

34.4 Customers are responsible for verifying confirmation messages before assuming a bet has been placed.

34.5 USSD and SMS charges imposed by telecom operators are independent of Eazeebet.

35. RETAIL CHANNEL TERMS (WHERE APPLICABLE)

35.1 Where bets are placed at retail outlets operated by authorized agents, Customers must retain their printed or electronic bet receipt as proof of wager.

35.2 Retail bets are valid only when recorded in Eazeebet’s central system.

35.3 In case of dispute, the central server record shall prevail over printed receipts.

35.4 Retail agents act as intermediaries only and are not authorized to alter betting rules or settle disputes outside official procedures.

35.5 Lost, stolen, or damaged retail bet slips may not be redeemable unless verified through system records.

36. PLATFORM SECURITY AND CYBER PROTECTION

36.1 Eazeebet employs security measures including encryption, monitoring systems, and intrusion detection tools.

36.2 Customers must not attempt to:

· Reverse engineer software;

· Access unauthorized areas;

· Introduce malicious code;

· Exploit system vulnerabilities.

36.3 Where security breaches are detected, Eazeebet may suspend affected accounts and conduct investigations.

 

 

 

37. CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING AND TRANSFER OF BUSINESS

37.1 In the event of merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, or sale of assets, Eazeebet may transfer Accounts and associated data to a successor entity in compliance with Applicable Law.

37.2 Customers shall be notified where required by law.

37.3 Continued use of the Platform after such transfer constitutes acceptance of the successor operator’s authority.

38. INSOLVENCY AND BUSINESS INTERRUPTION

38.1 In the unlikely event of insolvency proceedings affecting Eazeebet, Customer balances shall be treated in accordance with Applicable Law.

38.2 Eazeebet shall not be liable for delays in access resulting from insolvency proceedings mandated by court order.

39. CLASS ACTION AND COLLECTIVE PROCEEDINGS WAIVER (WHERE PERMITTED)

39.1 To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, Customers agree that disputes shall be pursued individually and not as part of any class action or representative proceeding.

39.2 This clause does not restrict statutory rights that cannot be waived under Nigerian law.

40. SURVIVAL OF OBLIGATIONS

40.1 The following provisions shall survive Account termination:

· AML obligations;

· Fraud investigations;

· Debt recovery;

· Indemnity;

· Data retention;

· Dispute resolution;

· Liability limitations.
